With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, I am deeply passionate about helping my clients navigate their challenges, including anxiety counseling and grief counseling, to achieve meaningful growth. I earned my Master's degree from the University of Denver and have had the privilege of training and practicing in both large organizations and private practice settings.
Throughout my career, I’ve received specialized training in working with individuals, couples, and professionals facing anxiety, OCD, perinatal mental health challenges, relationship distress, grief, and parenting challenges. My greatest passion lies in supporting people as they create deeper, more fulfilling connections with themselves and with others.
I grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado, and have lived and worked in various mountain towns. I have also trained with leading therapists and researchers in major cities, developing my skills and expertise with evidence-based treatment models, including OCD therapy. This blend of small-town insight and top-tier clinical training allows me to offer a uniquely informed approach to clients in the Park City and the Heber Valley communities, where I am proud to be recognized as one of the best therapists.
In my own life, I am most joyful when spending time with family and friends. I have a deep respect for nature and enjoy skiing and hiking. I also enjoy yoga, learning, and contemplating. My family and I moved from the Vail Valley to the Heber Valley in 2018, and I am so grateful to call this beautiful community home.
My Approach
At the core of my approach is my belief that each and every one of us is a person worthy of respect and empathy. I think holistically and focus on the mind, body, and spirit. By creating a space where you feel truly seen and validated, I facilitate transformative work that fosters growth and healing. Change can be challenging, and effective therapy encourages growth and pushes you beyond your comfort zone. Together, we will work toward creating meaningful, lasting change and cultivating deeper, more fulfilling connections. The methods I use are strongly supported by research. I am trained and practiced in the following therapeutic approaches:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Somatic Experiencing Therapy (SE)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
